Enigmatic — Privacy Policy

Enigmatic is a free website. It has no accounts and no sign-in.

What we store on your device. Your reading progress — which journey chapters you've finished, which days you opened the daily mystery, and which questions you've kept — lives in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data erases it. We keep no copy of it on any server; unless you opt in to analytics (below), none of it is sent anywhere.

Analytics. We use PostHog only if you explicitly consent via the banner. With consent on, we receive anonymous page-level events — which pages you visit and which chapters you mark finished. Nothing more. Decline and nothing is collected. You can change your choice any time under Support → Analytics choices.

Error reporting. Anonymous crash reports (via Sentry) help us keep the site working. A crash report can include the address of the page you were on when things broke, but no other reading data.
